Unitized seals with an integral wear sleeve

A unitized seal fits the seal and its own wear sleeve as one part, so the lip runs on a fresh counterface at the right hardness and finish. Send the part number or drawing and we quote it.

When to use it

Worn, soft or unhardened shafts, and assemblies fitted as one part. The shaft is already grooved, or is too soft to be a counterface. The sleeve gives the lip a fresh surface at the right hardness and finish.

When another type fits better

  • Cassette seal, when the duty is dirty as well as hard on the shaft.
