Quality and certifications

Certificate CONQ-001-02-26-1 (CONQ-001 for short) is Conquest Seal Corporation's AS9100D registration, and its scope reads, verbatim, "Manufacturer/distributor of O-rings, custom molded rubber and plastic products for the aerospace, defense and commercial applications". It covers the quality system that handles your order, the sourcing and the paperwork; it is not a product qualification, and no O-ring or gasket carries it. The registration is listed in the OASIS database, where you can verify it. The certificate and the procurement quality clauses are below.

What the system covers

Distribution of O-rings, molded rubber and plastic products and the manufacture of cut gaskets run under one documented system. Specification parts are made by manufacturers on the relevant qualified products list, where the document has one; commercial parts from approved manufacturers. Every lot is received against the purchase order and the specification, with identity, quantity and paperwork checked. Lot traceability runs from the manufacturer's certificate through our receipt and shipment. Nonconformances go through a documented corrective-action process.

Conquest Seal passes along the manufacturer's certificate. For a gasket Conquest Seal cuts, that is the raw material manufacturer's certificate; for a finished part, it is the certificate of the company that made the part. On parts made through our overseas manufacturing program, Conquest Seal is the manufacturer of record and issues the certificate.

What ships with a part

Every order ships with a packing list and a certificate of conformance naming the part number, the specification, the manufacturer, the lot, the quantity and the manufacturer's cure date. The manufacturer's own certificate of conformance ships with specification parts, and the batch test report where the program requires it and the manufacturer issues one. A cut gasket ships with the sheet maker's material certification, and the sheet maker's compound data sheet is available on request. Aerospace elastomers carry the manufacturer's cure date, with shelf life handled per SAE AS5316 (formerly ARP5316). First-article inspection documentation to AS9102 is available on request.

How specification parts are sourced

An MS28775 O-ring is made to MIL-PRF-25732 and carried today by SAE AS28775; EPDM rings for phosphate-ester fluid follow NAS1613, and FFKM rings follow AMS7257. An M83248/1 ring is made to AMS7276: DoD cancelled M83248/1 in 2008 and pointed future purchases to SAE AS3209 (boss sizes to AS3208), and SAE later issued AS83248/1 (2014), which DoD adopted on 2025-11-03. M25988 fluorosilicone rings are ordered to the MIL-DTL-25988 slash sheets (/1 to /4, Active); DoD's 2025 notice marks the base document inactive for new design and in part superseded by SAE AMS-R-25988. Where the document has a qualified products list, the manufacturer has had its compound tested and listed against it, on the DLA qualified products database or on a list held by SAE. That listing belongs to the manufacturer; Conquest supplies the part and the paperwork that names the manufacturer, and is not itself on any qualified products list. The mil-spec chart lists the documents and their current status. Documents

The procurement quality clauses are what Conquest Seal requires of its own suppliers; the supplier requirements page walks through them, from the certificate of conformance and cure dates to counterfeit prevention and right of access.

For the buyer's side of the paperwork, four guides go further: what a certificate of conformance says, lot traceability on defense contracts, how to check a qualified products list and how to cross-reference a part number. Setting Conquest Seal up as a supplier? The compliance documents page lists what a purchasing team usually asks for, and the second source page sets out what ships with each order when Conquest is the second source for a part you already buy.

How the quality system applies to particular kinds of order, from aerospace and defense traceability to food-contact compounds and semiconductor FFKM, is on the capabilities page.
