What Conquest's AS9100D quality management system covers, how specification parts are sourced from QPL-listed manufacturers where a list exists, and the documentation that ships with a part.
Conquest Seal Corporation holds an AS9100D certificate (CONQ-001) whose scope reads, verbatim, "Manufacturer/distributor of O-rings, custom molded rubber and plastic products for the aerospace, defense and commercial applications". Read that wording precisely: "Manufacturer" covers the gaskets Conquest cuts on its own waterjet in Orange, California, and the O-rings, custom molded rubber and plastic products are supplied as a distributor, not made here. The certificate covers the quality management system that handles your order, the sourcing and the paperwork; it is not a product qualification, and no seal is "AS9100 certified". This page says what the system does for a buyer, what documentation ships with a part, and how qualified parts are sourced.

How qualified parts are sourced
A part to a military or SAE specification (MS28775 to MIL-PRF-25732, M83248/1 or AS3209 to AMS7276, M25988 to AMS-R-25988, NAS1611 to NAS1613, AMS 7257 FFKM) is made by manufacturers on the relevant qualified products list, where the document has one: the DLA qualified products database or a list held by SAE. Otherwise it comes from a manufacturer that certifies the part to the document. A listing belongs to the manufacturer. Conquest supplies the part and provides the certification paperwork; Conquest is not itself on any qualified products list and does not claim to be. The mil-spec chart lists the specifications, and the M83248 and AMS7276 guides decode the two most common callouts.

Frequently asked questions
Is an AS9100 O-ring better than a commercial one?
There is no such thing as an AS9100 O-ring. AS9100D certifies a quality management system; a part's quality comes from its specification, its manufacturer's qualification and the paperwork that proves it.
Can Conquest supply QPL parts?
Yes: parts made by manufacturers on the relevant qualified products list, where the document has one, with the certificate naming that manufacturer.
Where can I verify the certificate?
The registration is listed in the OASIS database; ask and the certificate is sent with the quote.
What about export-controlled drawings?
Please don't send a drawing marked ITAR, EAR, CUI or export-controlled. For those parts, call (714) 632-9830.
Do commercial orders get the same paperwork?
A certificate of conformance ships with every order; the manufacturer's compound sheet ships on request; the batch test report is a specification-order item because the manufacturer issues it against the document.
