Stocking and vendor-managed inventory
AS568 lists 369 O-ring sizes and ISO 3601-1 adds the metric list, and a production line uses a short list of them in the same compounds, order after order. A stocking program holds those sizes on our shelf in Orange, California, in the compounds your prints call out, and releases them against your blanket order or your usage. We stock every AS568 size; specification and custom parts are ordered from the manufacturers we source from, to the level we agree with you. Every size page names the compounds that size is stocked in.

How a stocking program works
You send the part list: part number, specification or drawing, compound and the usage. We agree the sizes and compounds to hold and the level to hold them at, and the program is written per customer. Releases run against a blanket purchase order, each release numbered on our order so your open-order report and ours line up release by release. AS568 sizes come from stock; specification and custom parts are ordered from the manufacturer to the agreed level. Changes to the list, the compound or the revision go through the same written agreement.
What we stock
We stock every AS568 size, and the stock line on each size page names the compounds it is held in. Every common gasket sheet material is quick for us to source, and we cut it to your print on our waterjet. Specification parts are ordered to the agreed level, and every aerospace elastomer lot carries the manufacturer's cure date, with shelf life handled per SAE AS5316 (formerly ARP5316).
Open-order reports
Send your open-order report as it comes out of your system, with purchase order, part, quantity and due date, and we check every line against our open orders and answer with the differences: quantity, date, lines not on our book and lines already shipped. Blanket releases are matched by release number, so a report that lists releases reconciles line by line and a report that lists the blanket order reconciles at the total. Lines with no due date are the vendor-managed items, replenished to level rather than to a date.
Vendor-managed inventory
Under vendor-managed inventory we hold the agreed items against your usage and replenish them to the agreed level, with the review cadence and the minimum and maximum written into the program. The items sit on our shelf in Orange, and each release ships with its packing list and certificate of conformance per lot. The levels are reviewed against actual usage and adjusted with you, never on our own.
Every AS568 size, each with its stock line, is on the size chart; the gasket sheet materials are indexed on the gaskets page; and the capabilities page covers how orders with requirements beyond the size and the compound are supplied.
