Seals for agricultural equipment
Farm equipment fails in season, and the part you need is usually a standard size that somebody has on a shelf. Conquest Seal stocks every AS568 size and supplies the hydraulic seals and shaft seals that sprayers, pumps, cylinders and gearboxes use, in inch and metric. If the machine is old or the part has no number left on it, send a photograph and the measurements and we identify it. Send the part number, or three measurements, and a Conquest representative replies with the quote.

Most agricultural sealing is standard sizes in ordinary compounds. The difficulty is identifying what came out of the machine, not sourcing what goes back in.
Identifying a part with no number
An O-ring is identified from its inside diameter and its cross-section, measured on an unused ring; a used one has usually swollen or taken a set. A hydraulic seal is identified from the rod or bore diameter and the groove. The measuring guide covers the first, and for the second the cylinder make and model is normally enough.
Choosing the compound
What the seal touches decides it. Hydraulic oil, diesel, water, glycol and spray chemistry each rule out different compounds, and spray chemistry rules out more than people expect. The compatibility guide is the short version.
Beyond the O-ring
Hydraulic seals are sized to the rod, bore and groove; shaft seals to the shaft, bore and width. Flat gaskets are cut to your drawing on our own waterjet.

O-rings
The part most people mean by a seal. We stock every AS568 size.
Hydraulic seals
Rod seals, piston seals, wipers and wear rings that keep a cylinder tight. Inch and metric profiles, quoted to your size.
Radial shaft seals
Keeps lubricant in and dirt out of rotating equipment. Single lip, double lip and unitized, sized to the shaft, bore and width.
Gaskets
Seals the joint between two flat faces, cut to your drawing on our own waterjet in Orange, California, with no tooling.
Materials
What comes up on agriculture prints
- Buna-N O-Rings
- Hydraulic oil and general service. The usual default.
- Viton® (FKM) O-Rings
- Fuel, and chemicals that would destroy nitrile.
- EPDM O-Rings
- Water, glycol and spray chemistry. Never oil.
- Polyurethane O-Rings
- Abrasion and high pressure in cylinders.
The compound named on your print governs. Send it with the part number and we quote that compound.
